the melody is AWESOME, just a few tweaks here and there, a little more work on the transitions and whatnot, and you'll have an amazing song. Whats the insrument at lake 55 sec, cuz its awesome! i need to know!! lol thats my favorite part of the song.

Vibrant Mountains [v1.2 - WIP]

"oh yeah..."

date: September 24, 2009

this ones way better than the original fo' sho!! lol. i like that bell instument a lot

September 24, 2009

Author's Response:

Of course! I tried to make it more complex with other instruments. Also, I have the drum bass at a lower, yet deeper tone, so it's not that "in-your-face" sound. The bell noise I use as the main source, since that's what I want people to hear the most when listening to this, but using the other instruments as back-up help. Thanks for listening dude! :D

Rainbow Breeze [W.I.P]

"very nice"

date: September 19, 2009

The melody that comes in at like 52 sec, just adds a new feeling to the song. it works. definately keep and emphasize that melody in the final version dude! and the little intro of it at like 48 is pretty sweet! from 42 sec on, it just flows nice and smooth like ;)

and as i was typing this, i could only tell it was looping if i concentrated on it lol. nice job

September 20, 2009

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review! Most definitely the melody at 52 seconds adds more depth from the drop at 38 seconds. It's funny cause originally, the end melody at the 52 seconds was in the beginning... but I figured I needed a better start and a drop to build up to that spot. So it came from first to last, lol. The melody as done using automation also, I always try to do that to get a feel for what I wanna work with. But most thanks for listening! I actually like the unusual melody I thought up for this song. :D Can't wait to hear your creepy song! XD

Dawn of Existence [demo]

"I like it too"

date: July 8, 2009

My favorite part is when it gets to 48 seconds, and that other instument comes in, the two melodies go well together. I think to have the song more fitting to the title and description, you should start with one instument, and keep adding, like the progression of mankind itself, if y'know what i mean haha. good job!

July 8, 2009

Author's Response:

Yes, I like that bell noise. And it does fit in with the song. Glad you got to listen to this too. And I do agree with you about making the title and description more fitting, but... there's a slight progression in the song itself. The reason I did it this way is because I don't want the song to be too slow of a start, although it's at 122 1/4 BPM rate. Good point though! :P Thanks again for listening! :)

Vehement Arena [remix]

"decent"

date: May 30, 2009

i like it. the snare at 6 seconds, and the 2 bass kicks after it are AWESOME. you dont know how many times i've listened to only that part of the song. the drum beat is pretty catchy. i dont really remember what the original sounded like, but i like this on a lot...dont change anything!!

June 6, 2009

Author's Response:

Yes, the snare and those awesome bass kicks, lol. I should post up the original one just for comparison. I think what I wanna do to the song without much change is tone down some of the reverb in some sounds. Otherwise, I like how it is. :D I do need to change the ending fade a bit though. I think it doesn't end very well really. Anyways, thanks for listening! Check out my new post and song when you get the chance! :)

Tears of the Forest [demo v.1]

"your style"

date: May 9, 2009

i would say this was more of your style (before everything was gone). love the sounds, the feel of the song, and the title is awesome too! This one, in my opinion, has the more eerie, lonely feel to it too. The percussion adds that extra creepie effect to it. great song, only thing i would say to improve on for the final version would be the melody at around 42 seconds to the end...i dont know, it just seems "off" i guess. some keys sound off.

and yes, it loops too!! :D

May 16, 2009

Author's Response:

Thanks for the listen! Matter of fact, it does sound creepy. :P And I did notice the fact with the song after 42 seconds... does sound kinda "off". I think the reason being that is because of all the percussion sounds being almost the same. I'm definitely replacing those sounds with something else to distinguish from all the other sounds. Been taking a little break from music, but will be sure to catch up in no time! :D

Tropical Oceans [demo v.1]

"I can see the ocean"

date: May 5, 2009

wow, i love the begining melody...its great. its very ambient, and catchy, and tropical. I can close my eyes and picture myself on a beach sipping some ice tea:D Then, at like 42 seconds, a storm is coming in, so i have to go inside! Then at 1:02 or so, the sun comes back out through the clouds, and the song starts over, and i'm back on the beach with me tea!!:D

i like how it starts out as a calming ambient, then goes into an eerie ambient...I dont know if that was the intention, but it works! haha

May 6, 2009

Author's Response:

Glad you liked it! It wasn't actually meant to have that eerie feeling, but works perfectly! Haha! Good catch too with your thoughts on that one. :) I've actually redone some more on the song, with some sound editing, but still short. Did you use headphones for it? Cause I had headphones too when posting this, but re-edited some things to make it sound better for speakers. Check back to it and PM me about it or something, lol. Thanks again dude! :D
