i HATED that level as a kid, but ABSOLUTELY LOVE your remake of the song...the intro was perfekt. this song makes me feel like i'm eight again, complaining to my mom that my older brother wont help me with the level. (i got stuck all the time) hahaha...this song was perfekt!

ha, thanks for telling me i missed it, right now i'm so glad i heard it. i love how its fast paced, i dont know, it just fits this particular song. the whole song is perfekt, beat for beat bro, i love it!! it would be sweet if you took everything but the drums, and made another remix for shuffling...just slow it down a bit, change some sounds, and add a shuffling beat and bass kick sound...i dont know, just picturing how it would sound in my head as i type, haha...not saying i dont like this one, but another remix, just for shuffling...would be schveet!
lol ya this song can fit any genre or type out there.
i dotn know what it is, but it just works with anything.
i may screw around with it a little more.

THAT...WAS...AWESOME!! i love both parts of the song, the classic version, and the more electronik version. they both sound amazing. how long did you spend on this? it sounds so good.

getting the notes wasnt hard, the bass chords were tricky though, had all the parts in about 2 hours.
the rest was just adding effects and spiceing things up.
probably took about 4 hours toatal

Yes, I could just imagine a little pixelated dude running through a cavern. I did just use a sample for the end effect. Was a little bored. :P

wrong keys
when the keys change, it sounds off because they dont go well with the strings. it sounds like your only going half a step up, maybe try going a full step up, but nice beat tho.
i think you should keep working on it, just work on making the piano and strings more in harmony, and making it a little more complex...

i like it, but is very intense, not ambient tho...oh well. i love the thunder, it adds to that scary fight scene, or "somethings scarys gonna happen soon" feeling in scary movies. oh, and it loops flawlessly, well done with that!

This brings back the good ol' memories. i actually like the electik piano type sound, because it pretty much would have been the original if you would have used a regular piano. The flute in the begining is perfekt, its creepy, and cool sounding, but the song is supposed to be like that. haha. i loved the whole song. thanks for bringing memories from when i was like eight... and the little "treasure chest" sound at the end...priceless haha.
